Janet Baker, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ and Certified Financial Planner®, is the owner of Divorce Financial Consultants, LLC. Janet graduated from Queen’s University at Kingston, Ontario, Canada, one of the world’s top-ranking business schools, with a Bachelor of Commerce, Honors, in 1983. With over 30 years of experience in wealth management, Janet is a trained mediator and a Certified Collaborative Divorce Practitioner. Janet is also a member of The Collaborative Law Group of Southern Arizona and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and is one of the founders of the Divorce Resource Network of Tucson.
Having experienced a divorce herself, Janet knows this is a terrible time in people’s lives, and is committed to helping others through the process with as little pain and suffering as possible. An active community volunteer, Janet is a former Board Member of the Financial Planning Association of Southern Arizona and is an Advisory Board Member of Divorce Recovery, an organization dedicated to providing emotional and educational support to members of Tucson families going through a divorce or separation. In addition, Janet volunteers with the Women’s Foundation of Southern Arizona, and with Junior Achievement, an organization that brings financial literacy to Tucson elementary schools.
